Hello! I'm Ivy (she/they), your average newbie hexer and beleaguered creator. Among other things, I have a fixation on the incredibly complex genetics at play in the turn-of-the-millenium simulation game series Petz.
I grew up playing Petz 5 on my dad's dodgy Windows XP, so the game is dear to me! After my disc went kaput, getting a second chance to play the game was my dream, and the Petz community meant I finally had my chance to achieve that!
Here at Hydrargyry, you'll find my numerous bizarre creations ("creturs"), helpful tips for your own Petz endeavours, and my thoughts on the Petz Community and certain developments in the games' history.
I generally write my content with new Petz Community members in mind. I myself have only been in the online portion of the PC since 2023, so if something I say about the game is incorrect, please let me know!
