Ivy's Petz

My Petz

Here, you can meet the creturs that inhabit my computer!

I have way too many petz, so this is pretty much special ones that I want to show off.

I have them divided by catz or dogz, so if there's a specific section you want to see, feel free to click the links below!

CatzDogz

Catz: 4 — Dogz: 7

Catz

Bluescreen, the BirdWorm

An image of Bluescreen, a BirdWorm, in Petz. He is blue with a white star and moon pattern. His eyes are cyan and his beak is black.
A shiny, blue male symbol, resembling a circle with a line ending in an arrow.

Inspiration: The infamous Windows Blue Screen of Death (aka my site theme).

Genetics: 100% v4 BirdWorm

Favourite Colour(s): Red, Brown

Favourite Flavour(s): Fish, Milk, Catnip

The site mascot himself! Learn about him here.

Lopho, the Calico

An image of Lopho, a Calico, in Petz. He looks nothing like a cat and instead resembles the black and cyan display of a Greater Lophorina bird-of-paradise. His eyes and beak are both dark grey to blend in.
A shiny, blue male symbol, resembling a circle with a line ending in an arrow.

Inspiration: The Greater Lophorina.

Genetics: 100% Calico (he's a hexie)

Favourite Colour(s): Yellow (?)

Favourite Flavour(s): Milk (?)

My silly (and smug) hexie of a Greater Lophorina.

I'm not completely sure of his favourite colour and flavour because, for some reason, PetzChecker absolutely hates him and breaks whenever he's involved. These are my best guesses based on his file.

If you want your own Lopho, my project is still open!

UV, the BirdWorm

An image of UV, a BirdWorm, in Petz. She is a black worm-like creature with one white and one magenta eye, a white spot on her forehead and black spots on her body, wearing white circular glasses and carrying a black magnifying glass.
A shiny, purple female symbol, resembling a circle with a line ending in a cross.

Inspiration: Missing textures, particularly the black-and-magenta checkered ones in games like Minecraft or things using the Source video game engine.

Genetics: 100% v3 BirdWorm (purple-234 and green-217)

Favourite Colour(s): Red

Favourite Flavour(s): Leftovers and Cheese

My beloved black BirdWorm who was inspired by texture glitches. She's named UV after UV mapping. Likewise, she's carrying a magnifying glass since it's an ubiquitous computer program symbol!

Fun fact, I've actually used Blender before, and I don't just mean for pastylabz. I made a computer background with a teal-and-purple fuzzball. It was an awful experience. I love Blender though. I mostly used it for 2D animation before ibisPaint's animation update came along.

Edit 25-05-21: UV has been palette-swapped using my own personal palette rainbowlka!

UV II, the BirdWorm

An image of UV II, a BirdWorm, in Petz. She is a black worm-like creature with one white and one magenta eye, with black spots on her body, wearing pink circular glasses and carrying a black and pink magnifying glass.
A shiny, purple female symbol, resembling a circle with a line ending in a cross.

Inspiration: Same thing.

Genetics: 100% v4 BirdWorm

Favourite Colour(s): White, Red, Pink

Favourite Flavour(s): Catnip, Plants

Another UV, this time a v4 BirdWorm. She's been given a magenta makeover with Riako@Cat2K's palette "arewestilllookingforbienergy".

Fun fact, her favourite toy is for some reason the diamond from the playscene toy pack offered by Megan@Oasis. I've never seen any the gems naturally in a playscene before, so this is the only way I know this.

Also fun fact, she and Bluescreen strike me as very much in love with each other.

Dogz

Boreal, the Mixie

A shiny, purple female symbol, resembling a circle with a line ending in a cross.

Inspiration: Auroras, as given by Andi@Cirrutopia's palette, "ciraurora".

Genetics: 60.0% Chihuahua (sandy with nose patch), 20.0% Golden Retriever, 20.0% Papillon (ginger fluff)

Favourite Colour(s): Green and Blue

Favourite Flavour(s): Beef and Bone

A dog who shines like the northern sky.

Bory was the results of my first time palette swapping. If you don't count Sunny's eye colour genexing, she's also the first pet here to result in a new stamp by merely existing.

An image of Boreal, an indigo, Chihuaha-eared mixie with blue and green spots, in Petz.

Chickie, the Chick

A shiny, purple female symbol, resembling a circle with a line ending in a cross.

Inspiration: My plush chick.

Genetics: 100% Chick

Favourite Colour(s): Red

Favourite Flavour(s): Cheese

Based off the plush chick I've had since I was practically a baby.

Uses Andi@Cirrutopia's "cirrainbow2" palette.

An image of Chickie, a yellow chick with one leg and a small blue bow, in Petz.

Fox, the Mixie

A shiny, blue male symbol, resembling a circle with a line ending in an arrow.

Inspiration: Nothing concrete

Genetics: 57.14% Papillon, 42.86% Sheepdog

Favourite Colour(s): White, Red

Favourite Flavour(s): Beef, Cheese, Bone

I really wanted to breed something a bit odd for Sunny II's mate in my raising project involving her. I didn't know how much I wanted a tiny, "white", fluffy ginger-marked mixie until I saw him! (He is tan because he uses QueeniePhantasmagoria's "harvest" palette.)

Incidentally, the sweater he's wearing is one of ECRose@Mythic Silence's, but it has fallen victim to the palette swap!

An image of Fox, a tan dog with orange markings on his face and green eyes. He is wearing a green and brown plaid sweater.

Nutmeg, the Dalmatian

A shiny, blue male symbol, resembling a circle with a line ending in an arrow.

Inspiration: Gingerbread (obviously).

Genetics: 100% Dalmatian

Favourite Colour(s): Yellow

Favourite Flavour(s): Beef

I got one of Gingerade@Gin'z Brewery's Gingerbread Dali kits! I think it's such a cool concept to make your own hexie through a kit like this.

Nutmeg has been palette-swapped with Silverfish@Swallowtail's "lapis" palette because I love the less saturated ginger-60s range and the lavender instead of pink-75!

An image of Nutmeg, a light orange Dalmatian with brown ears and spots, a purple gumdrop tail, and a purple collar with a white tag.

Sebbie, the Sheepdog

A shiny, blue male symbol, resembling a circle with a line ending in an arrow.

Inspiration: My plush chipmunk.

Genetics: 100% Sheepdog

Favourite Colour(s): Green

Favourite Flavour(s): Sweet and Plants

Based on my beloved chipmunk plushie, Sebastian. You may also know him from the escapades of my "Uhhh..." stamp.

He was the first pet of mine to be given a personality in Oasis' personality editor. He also uses QueeniePhantasmagoria's "autumn" palette.

An image of Sebbie, a Sheepdog who looks like a chubby brown chipmunk with round glasses, in Petz. He has green eyes and his glasses are green as well.

Sunset, the Mixie

A shiny, teal nonbinary symbol, resembling a circle with a line ending in an X.

Inspiration: My other dogs named Sunny.

Genetics: 57.14% Dachshund (black and red), 28.57% Dalmatian, 14.29% Tinybaby Dog (blue-116)

Favourite Colour(s): Yellow and Blue

Favourite Flavour(s): Beef and Bone

My next dog in the long line of Sunnies. This one is a bit more self-indulgent, being fluffy, spotted, and having pink-blue heterochromia. The only thing missing is some stripes, lol. Of course, I took a picture of her with a violet, just like the original Sunny.

As a side note, I accidentally non-binaried her, hence the icon. (They can be a she/they too, just like yours truly, I guess.)

An image of Sunset, a Mixie resembling a Dachshund, in Petz. She is an orange, fluffy dog with slightly darker orange spots, brown eyebrows, brown paws, a brown tail tip, one pink eye, and one light blue eye. She is wearing a blue collar with a gold charm.

Sunny II, the Mixie

A shiny, purple female symbol, resembling a circle with a line ending in a cross.

Inspiration: The same as usual.

Genetics: 57.14% Dachshund (black and red), 28.57% Scottie, 14.29% Dalmatian (specifically Salem@MosEisley's mutating spot Dali)

Favourite Colour(s): All

Favourite Flavour(s): All

Another Sunny. This time, she's all base-game files, so I don't have to stick my own files into the game every time I want her out, and has cute cherry spots.

This one has also been genexed to pass down pink-75 and blue-172 eyes.

An image of Sunny II, a Mixie resembling a Dachshund, in Petz. She is an orange, fluffy dog with red spots and a red left ear, one pink eye, and one light blue eye. She is wearing a blue collar with a gold moon charm.
